Hi I’m Holly, and I love helping people get organized!

I’ve been a neat freak all my life, and love to keep things simple. But during my time as a stay-at-home-mom with young kids I veered off track and found myself with a house and garage chock full of stuff, requiring an increasingly larger moving truck with each move. I hit a wall and desperately craved more space and more freedom, but I could not find an organizing method that made sense, or made lasting change.

By chance I came across the KonMari Method and it radically changed my life. I gained all the benefits of a “tidy transformation” and once again enjoyed the benefits of living lighter. More importantly, I reconnected with what was most important to me. As luck would have it, soon after I finished my own tidying journey, Marie Kondo launched a consultant program. I jumped at the chance to train directly under Marie to become North Carolina’s first Certified KonMari Consultant. I founded Tidy Habitat with the mission of helping others gain the magical benefits of a dramatic decluttering and tidying of their home.

I bring to my work years of personal and professional experience from both the corporate world and raising a family. I’ve lived all over the map, in houses big and small, and have found one thing to be true - everything starts at home, and the spaces around us set the tone for how we look, feel, and act. I can’t wait to help my clients organize mindfully and rediscover the joy that is already in their home.

I currently live in the beautiful countryside in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with my husband Peter, my teenage son and daughter, and my two rescue cats.
